Ealing is seeking to appoint an Early Years Consultant to work in its expert team of highly skilled and dedicated professionals. The service is well established and highly regarded amongst schools and settings in Ealing.
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable qualified teacher who has a high level of expertise in working with early years children and their families. The successful applicant will provide support to schools and early years settings and will lead quality and improvement across early years education in the Local Authority. Through expert knowledge, support and leadership they will ensure that early years practitioners continually improve standards in leadership, safeguarding, teaching and learning, inclusion and Special Educational Needs provision.
Successful candidates will present well with good communication skills and demonstrate the skills necessary to work with key schools' and nursery staff as well as childminders. We are looking for a reliable individual, committed to and energetic about working in partnership with early years providers to achieve the best possible outcomes for vulnerable young children and their families. Successful applicants will need to meet the person specification.
The post will report to the team manager and be responsible for supporting a range of early years providers, including schools, nursery settings and childminders. The individual will join the broader early years team and will work closely with other key Ealing services supporting vulnerable children and their families to achieve good outcomes.
